There are very few article of clothing that have stood the experiment of time like bomber jackets, particularly the authentic short, waist length blazer modeled on those issued to World War II bomber pilots. Since they have been around for nearly a century, it is not very likely they'll be going out of modes any time soon. The original flight jackets issued to pilots were designed to be highly practical. Bomber pilots flew in open level across continents, in freezing conditions. They had to have something that would holding them warm and the original bomber blazer did just that.
